The festive season can wreak havoc with our skin. Whether it is down to drinking more alcohol, late nights out partying, or eating too much rich and indulgent food, we can end up letting our skincare routines slip by the wayside. Here are some ways to treat your skin over the christmas period.
Firstly, you should schedule in time to care for your skin. You could set aside a weekly time to do a face mask, exfoliate and treat your skin. Perhaps tie this in with a bubble bath for a relaxing treat.
Another good way to treat your skin is to remember to drink plenty of water during the day. When we are at home on holiday and out of our normal routine, it is easy to forget to drink up, as we are given the chance to have more treats like coffees, hot chocolates and wine! These can be dehydrating for your skin, so try to get at least 2 litres of water in you each day. Your skin will thank you!
